Case Study: The Shoppes at Montage

The system started with three-inch polyisocyanurate insulation that was laid down on top of the decking system. Acting as a barrier against heat and energy loss, the insulation is a vital part of the roofing system. The VersiGard 45-mil black EPDM was installed directly on top of the insulation. “The EPDM membrane was chosen because it was one of the most durable and economical roofing membranes for a building of this size,” said Jaime Hollingsworth, Project Manager with Ford & Associates.
